Effective March 17, 2020 Kenya halted the entry of foreigners from countries that have confirmed coronavirus cases for 30 days or until further notice. Only Kenyan citizens, and any foreigners with valid residence permits will be allowed to come in provided they proceed on self-quarantine or to a government designated quarantine facility.

Kenya tourist e-visa is required for citizens of China.

Children aged 16 and under are exempt from applying for a Kenya Tourist Visa and do not need to submit an application.

To apply for a travel visa to Kenya requires the following documents:

Scanned copy of passport. Validity must be no less than 6 months after return + at least two blank visa pages.
Passport-type photograph: must be uploaded to your applicant profile.
Round trip flight . Reservation with the details of the name of airline company, the name of traveler, reservation code and exact entry & exit dates. You are not advised to purchase the ticket before your visa issuance.
Hotel reservation. Hotel reservation covers the full stay in Kenya.
Copy of passport. Copy of passport front cover.

Embassy of Kenya in the China offers visa processing of 2-3 business days.
